This year 2022/2023 is the 48th year of CMDF. By the grace of our loving Lord, and the unwavering supports of all our senior and respected brothers and sisters, the younger generation has carried on the torch to move our Fellowship forward. I firmly believe CMDF is our family for ALL Christian doctors and dentists across ALL generations, where we can share, support and serve each other. With our united witness, we can serve our community with our Christian faith.
CMDF five pillars of visions (5”M”) :
1) To Worship and Glorify God by our united witness. (Magnifying God)
2) To Serve our community with our professional expertise. (Ministry)
3) To Evangelize via local and overseas medical missionary works. (Mission)
4) To provide a platform for Fellowship. (Membership)
5) To Disciple our doctors and students with Bible. (Maturation)
CMDF Monthly Gatherings
We organise monthly fellowship on the second Monday of every month at FES office. Invited speakers included the followings:

We have contributed articles in the publication of Hong Kong Association of Hospital Chaplaincy.
International/National Conference and Collaboration
The 17th ICMDA World Congress takes place in Arusha, Tanzania from 20-25 June, 2023.
24th Houseman Career Conference
We have co-organised our annual Houseman Career Conference (Zoom), with Christian Doctors Network on 2nd Sept. with over 170+ participants. The COS sharing, CV preparation and Practical tips on job interview were discussed followed by group sharing with different subspecialties doctors. This is a meaningful ministry to serve our housemen and medical students during the important period of their career.
Medical Benefit Scheme for Christian Pastoral Staff
Through the Medical Benefit Scheme, CMDF continued to serve the pastors, missionaries and seminary students by providing specialist medical and dental service and professional opinion. This ministry can give prompt assessment and treatment of Christian workers in order to equip them with a good physical and mental health to serve. Currently, we have 29 members joined our scheme to serve 149 candidates.
Mentorship Programme
Mentorship Program was run for a year and now 29 passionate mentors have joined the programme to serve 36 mentees. We have group activities on 1st May for outings（參觀中華聖經文物館）and Mentors & Mentees Night on 16th Aug.
Elective Programme ~ Clinical Attachment in Overseas Mission Hospital
It has been launched in Jan. 2018 & there were 7 students sent to overseas mission hospitals before, and 5 medical students will go to the mission hospitals for elective training in late Dec. 2023 – April 2024.
Graduation Thanksgiving and Blessing
It is a good opportunity for our senior brothers and sisters to carry our blessings, love and support to the newly graduates, with over 30 participants come to gathering on 6th Jun, 2023 and we pray for all fresh graduates aspire to be His witness and serve as salt and light at the workplace.
Saline Movement (co-organized with CDN, HCF,NCF)
We have planned a series of activities of this program and we get a very good positive feedback from our brothers and sisters in each activity.
- Saline Training Course on 29th Apr, 2023 (around 60 participants)
- Revival Gathering on 18th Aug, 2023 (around 200 participants)
- Musical Evangelistic Gathering on 28th Nov, 2023 (674 participants)
Retreat Camp
We have Retreat Camp on 28-29th Oct. at Tao Fong Shan, Shatin. We are delighted to have Rev. Ho Kit as camp speakers, sharing with us on the theme of “大水不滅的愛：浸泡在神的雅歌愛情中”. over 20 doctors / dentists / students came together for worship, sharing, retreat, and refreshment in God.
Medical Student Gathering
We have held our medical student gathering on 6th Oct. at the CMA Faith Church. We are delighted to have Dr. Gordon Poon, Dr. Christy Mak and Dr. Samuel Yee as speaker, the purpose of the gathering is to strengthen and help the students how to prepare and equip themselves to take challenge being a doctor in the near future. Over 30+ students came to the gathering.
Medical/Dental Support for Community
We have co-partner with passionate dentists to provide the dental service for the poor and grassroots through the collaboration with the churches, total 35 people are served and 17 people accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
